"Our son has attended Silva's since he was roughly 5 months old. Our little guy's 3 y/o now! His development has been extremely pleasing, as being around other children really gets his brain flowing, as opposed to sitting on the couch all week with a babysitter. Mrs. Silva is extremely caring, but can also be firm when a child becomes too unruly. For convenience sake, we switched our boy to a daycare which was only a block from our home...at first everything seemed alright, but after a handful of months, it was clear that the structure (or, possibly lack of) at this new daycare was really taking a toll on him. I immediately called Silva's Daycare, and Mrs. Silva was gracious enough to let us bring him in last minute! We are so happy that he's back with Mrs. Silva. Mrs. Silva routinely sends us photos/video of our son's day at daycare...it's a special touch that can really put a parent at ease throughout the work day. Childcare is not cheap, but definitely well-worth it when you see your child developing their social skills quicker than kids who just stay home. It's nerve-racking, as a parent, to send your first child to daycare, but I can honestly say that it's been a GREAT investment, and I will NEVER look for another daycare aside from Silva's Daycare. We trust Silva's Daycare so much, that our second child will be starting daycare very soon!
