"My new favorite restaurant in Milwaukee! A beautiful location with a view of the Milwaukee skyline. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to make a reservation. The server was fantastic and walked us through the entire menu and made great suggestions. It's a family style, Greek inspired restaurant. We ordered the sampler and the Greek salad, and then shared 4 entrees between the 6 of us. Be sure to get extra pita, it's only $1 extra. The prawns were fantastic. They have Greek inspired cocktails that were beautiful, and we also enjoyed the two beer options brewed in Greece. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We will be back! Update! We came back and still loved it. The prawns were still a favorite as well as the sampler appetizer. The red pepper and hummus dips were amazing. Another update is the chocolate cookie dessert with vanilla ice cream. Make sure you save room for it!!"

"This was our first visit to Avli this evening after the Admirals won. I am happy this place seats later. Lively restaurant when we walked in at 845. Loud in there but other than that it’s fine. Pretty city view in back side of dining room. Husband and I ordered calamari and a hot pepper feta dip to start. I loved the fresh taste of the dip. Could tell it was made just for me. I liked the service. Our entrees were the 1/2 chicken for him and prawns dish for me. Beautiful plating and lively flavor palates on both. We ate everything it was that good! Can’t wait to tell everyone to run and not walk to this gem!"

"I had such a great dining experience here. The food was so fresh and flavorful, not to mention I genuinely felt good after eating everything. Our server was attentive and paced our dinner fantastically. The first picture shown was the dip platter (literally the best tzatziki I've ever eaten) and the second was our entrees. I didn't want anything heavy so I got the garden salad which I usually don't do but I was blown away by how good it was. The other plate was chicken kabob and pita bread which was also phenomenal! So much flavor in everything. As you can see by the last picture we destroyed our food... minus the fries but simply because I was too full to eat anymore. Those were good too! All around I had such a good time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice date spot or just place to go to dinner in general. It feels a bit "fancier" in here but all of the prices were still very affordable, and you definitely get what you pay for, I'd say I almost expected to pay more."
