"WARNING: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS FURNITURE STORE! The furniture owner, John Ta, is the sketchiest businessman and liar that I have ever encountered in my life! Do not pay with a debit card or cash in this store! He kept about $2000 of my in-person purchase (set for delivery), and he never delivered any of my furniture —> zero items! He repeatedly refused to refund my money and threatened to charge me extra fees for storage after he did not deliver what was promised. I extensively wasted time with my credit card company, because he refused to cooperate - and my bank also declined to provide my money back from this dirtbag. I am traumatized from this experience. He is a awful, rude, and soulless person."

"So glad I found this place! I had been looking for a deep seated, plush sofa and love seat in the right color and fabric for nearly a year now, walked into Hollywood Furniture Galley and they had exactly what I was looking for. I placed my order, but in a different color than what they had in stock. I expected a long turn around since they had to be made to order, but nope! I had my sofas within 2 weeks of ordering! Fantastic service from John and beautiful sofas! Very happy!"

"I bought a loveseat from here and had a great experience. John told me that my piece would take three weeks to arrive, and when it looked like it might go a day or two past this point he called me to let me know, then followed up again the next day. The point being that I didn't have to badger them and he got ahead of the slightly late delivery, which is a class act in my book. Their delivery guy was sweet and efficient and I'm very happy with the sofa. I've already recommended a friend to shop here. I got the care that I was hoping for by going to a Mom & Pop store instead of a big box."

"This has been the worst bed purchase experience ever! A couple weeks ago I went in to buy a dark grey (charcoal) head board and bed frame. Since I did not see it on the show case floor, John the owner suggested his catalog. After scanning through it I found a grey bed I liked and he ordered it. A few days later the bed got delivered but it was the wrong color. It was a brown! The delivery guys were trying to convince me it was grey but it was clearly brown. I called John and he also began to insist it was grey. I proceeded to tell him that was not what I order and did not want it. Later he said I ordered a brown bed because the code number said it was brown and we both missed it. I told him I clearly went in to buy a dark grey bed and his catalog clearly showed that. John then told me that I would have pay a restocking fee of $100 (this is not even my fault) and after going back and forth he agreed to pay it since I settled to get a different color just to continue to do business with him which backed fired at me yet again! When I finally got it delivered the second time around the delivery men failed to tell me before they left that the bed was missing a part that supported the bottom bed. The only reason I noticed was because later that night the bed was making a loud squeaking noise. The next day I called John to tell him know about it and he quickly brushed the problem off and told me what I want him to do about it and that this wasn't his fault. He then added that the bed was missing a part and that I needed to go get it from the store. Never beening one bit apologetic and quickly hung the phone. I went in to get the part and he was really unprofessional and unapologetic .While putting the missing part I also discovered that most of the screws were loose as well. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FURNITURE STORE! This experience was very stressful and upsetting!"
