"My husband drove15 miles to this restaurant only to arrive home with EXTREMELY salty collard greens. It tasted like eating a tablespoon of raw salt. It was awful. We wound up throwing away 6 total sides of collard greens the purchase of 3 catfish dinners. My husband who loves himself some salt couldn’t even bare it. The catfish was over salted too. Maybe cook was having a bad day? However, when you’re messing with people’s stomach and money you need to be on 24/7, no excuses. Overall, food is good. We’ve noticed things seem to be slacking on the food front though. Maybe “Daddy” needs to check in on the kiddos, since they seem to be running the day to day business. If you want to charge the big bucks which people are willing to pay, your food needs to be great! Staff is friendly and respectful. Uhm, put those cellphones downs when people/customers are in front of you. It reads to the general public as rude and that you’re ignoring them."

"I absolutely loved my experience at Daddy’s Soul Food. When you walk in you immediately get a family vibe from the decor and old school music. Staff are warm and welcoming. The prices are phenomenal for the quality of food they are providing. They let you try samples of their menu and every thing is fresh! This is the best fried chicken I’ve had in Milwaukee. The portion sizes are delicious.I highly recommend giving this place a try. The only thing I think could improve are the cornbread muffins(they taste a little lemony and slightly over cooked, maybe it was just an off batch) , but everything else 10 out of 10! I will be back!"

"Daddy’s was a great experience. The atmosphere felt like home. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Shout out to my man Jay who was a blessing to meet. The food was ridiculously good! My wife and I loved everything we ate. The bathrooms were clean. It don’t get any better than this! If you are in the Milwaukee area you have to stop here for a great soul food experience. I could go on and on but I’ll stop right here."
