Story Hill BKC

"I went to Story Hill on a Saturday mid-morning. I’ve driven pass this place on a number of occasions. We were seated right away. Thankfully we had reservations as this place was very busy. Our waitress was okay. She reminded me of a step-ford wife. She seemed very distance and emotionally unavailable which made it difficult to connect with her. She was pleasant just very emotionally distance. We had the berries, bananas and vanilla cream crepes and the two eggs, sausage, toast and rustic potato breakfast. The crepes were very good; however, the classic breakfast plate looked like it was prepared by a 5th grader. The food was spaced out on the plate. It looked like my potatoes were juggled on the plate while everything else seemed like it was found in different parts of the kitchen and thrown on the plate. It wasn’t very appealing, but it did taste good. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel very welcome so we won’t be back. However, other people may not have the same experience so please give this place a try!"

"Fun atmosphere restaurant and bar with a little shop with unique wines and liquor choices. Service was unbelievable and very informative. We enjoyed our entire meal from the starter to dessert. We will definitely come again."

"Great service and atmosphere for a Sunday brunch, but the food was lacking just a bit of je ne sais quoi. brunch burger topped with sunny side up eggs, and cooked just right, but under seasoned. Kind of confused that they missed the seasoning of the patty so much, since I really expect much from Story Hill! I'm going to assume it was more of a fluke this time. I also had this egg omelette-like dish but I can't remember the name. It was fluffy and cheesy. It was good but not jaw dropping. mimosa ok, this, I definitely had better. So anyway, overall, I'm giving them 4 stars because I know they are better. I'm somewhat surprised that I was so under wowed this time."

"Had an outstanding breakfast yesterday at Story Hill BKC, courtesy of our server Elizabeth A. We walked in about 10:30 to a very busy restaurant, but were seated immediately. We ordered the Crepe Monsieur and the Madame Benny (a special of the day) with coffee. The food was exactly the same as it always is - absolutely delicious and wonderfully plated. Elizabeth was sweet, kind and attentive to all of our needs. One thing in particular we love about BKC: when the food is ready, it's immediately brought to the table by another dedicated server. It doesn't have to wait until your assigned table server is free. That makes the whole process so much more efficient and really makes you feel like you're being cared for by the whole BKC team. Love it! Highly recommend Story Hill BKC for your next meal out. Ask for Elizabeth when you visit - she'll take great care of you!"

"We have been to Story Hill BKC several times and have always had great service and delicious food. During our most recent visit, our server Amanda was so personable and very attentive. She anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to give us a top-notch dining experience. Every dish we’ve ever tried here has always had delicious flavor combinations. You really can’t go wrong! p.s. The flakey dinner rolls are a must!"
