"Went in on a whim, and am glad I did. Got the pork ball and red bean ball. Price was excellent and the taste is out of this world. Wish I had gotten there earlier, as they sold out of a lot of bakery. Can't wait to go again!"
"I got a pineapple cake, a red bean cake, a red bean sesame ball, and half a duck. All of it was great! The filling in the cakes was plentiful and yummy and the sesame ball was just SLIGHTLY crunchy on the outside, just perfect. The duck had to be reheated in the oven but it was fantastic. There was half a duck head in the box, which didn't look too tasty so I did not attempt to eat it LOL. I rendered some of the skin with some onions and froze them. I'm thinking those onions will go inside of a baked good of some sort one day but we'll see. I'll be back!!!!"
"What amazingly sweet family and staff. If you want some good traditional and a few slightly Americanized Asian baked goods, check them out. But you have to definitely get there in the mornings because they sell out quickly. I am a particularly fond of their packaged steamed buns. I almost always have a pack in the fridge for random snacking (It's just a minute or so in the microwave wrapped in a wet paper towel). If you buy steamed buns from the store they rarely come as sweet. This is not a sit down and eat place by the way. It is pick up and go. They do also have a menu for different meats as long as you order an advance."
"This bakery is serving up some unique flavorful delicacies at an affordable price and great customer service. The honey glazed barbecue pork is so tender and juicy. While the black sesame seed filled bun and red bean filled sesame balls will make your mouth water after the first bite."
"I special ordered the roast pig and it was delicious! Give them a week’s notice and you’ll be happy you ordered from Lucky Bakery. I ordered a 44# pig which was more than enough to feed 28 guys for a picnic. I think the minimum is a 35# pig so be aware that you can’t get anything less than that. However, if you can get enough people together, it’s worth it."
