"I purchase an oxtail dinner that cost me $26 . The oxtails had less meat on them., some of the rice was not done and other spots was over cooked.. I wasn’t happy with the dinner so I called left a message for the manager to call me. He did he apologized and told me he would give me a refund. I told him we would come tomorrow. When my guy went back they gave him a hard time. Saying we should have brought food back yesterday. What an unprofessional restaurant and customer service. I will never eat there again. #notahappycistomer ☹️"

"Don't go here. The portions are smaller than what you would get anywhere else. I asked what the sides were. Was told I would get cabbage, rice and peas, and plantain. I waited for 1.5 hrs because I ordered oxtail. None of the dishes had plantain. The cabbage was basically non-existent. The jerk chicken was way too dry and salty. The oxtail was mostly bone, was tough, and tasted like jerky and had hardly any rice. I ordered jerk catfish and got fried catfish. At least the fried catfish was good, albeiy salty like everything else. I went back to the restaurant to explain everything and got a small takeout tray with cabbage, oxtail, and jerk chicken that weighed as much as all 3 large plates combined. I tried to reason with the bartender and explain my situation. She just played things off and basically just hoped that things would be better next time I come and that we ate 90-95% of our food. We ate 15% based on the pictures. Needless to say, I will never be back. Additionally, saw someone else who ordered a side of plantain. They got 6 tiny undercooked pieces for about $5."

"A "good" dining experience that is unusual is unique. Anything less than that is "weird". Notice that I didn't say "bad" as this really wasn't. It's complicated. I've driven by this place often, and always wanted to try it. Today was the day. As I entered this place early afternoon, I noticed there was a woman behind the bar (no people at the bar), and 5 elderly gentlemen in the dining area playing cards (and talking about their kidney stones). I was handed a menu by the bartender, and told to sit anywhere. All the tables had crumbs on them but OK, I'm not that fussy. Menu looked good with many good Jamacian offerings. When the bartender came to my table to get my drink order, I ordered one of the "drink specials" from the menu. I was told that they didn't have any of the 7 drinks in that area. OK.......I ordered a diet Coke. No diet.....only regular Coke, Sprite, and orange or cranberry juice. Ok with cranberry juice. I wisely asked which of the food items they had. Of the 18 or so menu items, I was pointed out the 4 they had, along with the daily $5.00 lunch special. Upon inquiring about what it was I was informed that it was jerk chicken and fried cabbage. That's what I went with.I received my cranberry juice (that had a small gum wrapper wadded up in it). Again Mr. Fussy I am not, so I just fished it out. Amused listening to the men complaining about the bad cards they had been dealt. No other diners came during my entire stay. When my plate arrived, I was pleased to see 3 medium sized pieces of chicken and a large mound of cabbage. The chicken was amazingly moist, tender, and extremely flavorful. Some of the best I have ever had. The cabbage had been fried with some peppers that made it very tasty, not at all spicy. When my check arrived I was amazed to see that I had not (either accidentally or intentionally) not been charged for the cranberry juice, so the damages were $5.26.!!! I'm just pleased (and cheap) enough to go back again."
