"Background: I have installed 3 remote starters in the past successfully so I am aware of how they work and there options. Pros: Miguel is super friendly and his services are reasonably priced. Cons: I verbally asked twice for two way remotes and the rear defrost to be hooked up. I asked once when I setup the appointment and once when I dropped off the vehicle. When I showed up to pickup the vehicle the rear defrost was not hooked up and one way remotes were configured. I agreed to drop the vehicle off the following Monday for them to finish the work. In the meantime I decided one way remotes were fine but wanted them to make some programming changes and hook up the rear defrost. When I dropped the car the second time I did so with the remote starter's configuration options circled with what I wanted. Miguel's team got it right the second time and Miguel verified functionality before I left after the second appointment. If I had to do it all over again I would have just showed up with the options I wanted written down on paper to avoid communication issues. The money I saved by going with CarTronics was offset by the two Uber rides I needed to get to CarTronics. Now with all of that being said. If you know nothing about remote starters and are not tech savvy chances are if your car locked/unlocked and remote started you would have been happy the first go around. Hopefully Miguel and his team get a bit more organized so when the busy times hit they can get the job done correctly the first time. Cheers!"
