"I love the decor and ambiance, it's very relaxed. The staff is top-notch and friendly. Being vegan, I love all the offerings. They recently changed their weekday menu, which is more limited, so I will likely just go on the weekends when the delicious full menu is served."

"First time here and was really impressed. Really great kids' menu with a beautiful smiley face pancake, great food with a huge side selection and super reasonable prices. Atmosphere was peaceful on a Saturday morning when many Madison restaurants are packed. The staff were all kind and warm and had a really positive experience with their interactions with us and their neighbors from Willy Street. Definitely a hidden gem!"

"Coffee is good, staff is sweet and attentive, and everything was definitely worth what they're charging, but that's not saying much since everything is microwaved and tiny. There's no kitchen. I'm glad at least somewhere was open for breakfast on a national holiday. Also all the uploaded photos for this place are inaccurate, don't believe them."

"First time at the Cafe. Had to learn how to use kiosk to order, but staff offered to help if I got stuck. Sat in front room by open window. Food was very good. Quantities not large ( nothing to take home ) but was a good value for very modest price. Sandwich and two sides for less than $9."

"Overall, a decent menu with reasonable prices. I deducted 2 stars for a couple of reasons. We placed an ordered for pick up scheduled for 9:45AM. The food wasn’t ready until 10:15AM which was disappointing. During the waiting period, 3 employees asked if we had been helped, but that’s as far as help went. The food was also warm - for having to wait 30 min, this shouldn’t have been the case at all. Lastly, I ordered a veggie eggs benedict and the poached eggs were way overcooked with VERY little hollandaise sauce if any at all. I suppose you get what you pay for. I recommend going elsewhere for breakfast as there are certainly better restaurant options in the neighborhood."
