"I stopped in briefly mostly to check out for my teen son suddenly interested in his look. There is definitely more female clothing. I’ll be back with the teen in tow. Heck, even a teen father found some cool stuff. I bought one shirt with new tags still on it. It’s a $45 shirt new that I bought for $22 here. Still a good deal in my mind. More expensive than thrift stores. Definitely more clothes on the rack that you will likely want than thrift too. I easily could have brought home clothes that I liked."

"I visited Plato's Closet recently and had a mixed experience. Initially, their system was down due to a storm, which I understood was beyond their control. However, the real frustration came when I called later in the day to inquire if the system was back up and what time they closed. The associate confirmed that the system was functioning and stated they closed at 9pm. What they didn't mention was that they don't accept sale intakes within an hour of closing. So, I arrived an hour before closing with a small bucket of clothes, only to be turned away, wasting two trips to the store. This lack of communication was disappointing. Edit: Thank you to the store managers response to this situation! For this, I have revised my original review."

"DO NOT SELL ITEMS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Manager was extremely rude when I went to donate clothing & got upset when I decided to decline the offer they gave me. I went back a week later & They then wouldn’t let me donate anymore at any Platos closet location because I declined the initial offer."

"My daughter came into the store around 1:30 on 11/13. She wanted to sell a Luluemon winter coat & a NorthFace jacket. She was mocked by the girls behind the counter because she didn’t know the procedure to sell. When my daughter asked for the items back - she was treated badly again. Told by staff, in a mean voice, to just take it. She’s going to sell the coats on Depop."

"Great place to find new and lightly used clothing for a deeply discounted price I've always found good deals every time i visit! Ignore all the terrible reviews they're mainly just people that are irritated they couldn't turn in their likely gifted clothing for cash because they were desperate for the money and couldn't return to the store itself! You have to understand they're just trying to run a business the racks are absolutely full they can only take on so much new inventory I wish there were more places like this it's great for the environment to be able to resale perfectly good clothing as opposed to filling up are landfills! Don't hesitate to check it out from a couple people's biased opinions because they were upset in the moment! The staff was very professional, helpful and polite!"
