"Getting ready to leave the area now that our convention is over, we love trying local restaurants and saw this one. My husband had the spring crepes and I had the patty melt. The food was delicious! I bookmarked this place for next year as we work Anime Milwaukee every year"
"A breakfast place for folks who aren't necessarily breakfast people! I was surprised by this place that they had a really good take on Mexican Breakfast. They do have some of the 'regular' breakfast food, but a lot of their food has a really nice Mexican flair. Chorizo potatoes and Mexican Skillet were phenomenal. It was very busy so I wasn't the only one who liked it. Staff was very courteous and kept my coffee full and warmed up. Highly recommend!"
"What a great place for breakfast. It is located in downtown Delafield with lots of parking. The place is always super busy but definitely worth the wait. Very friendly staff and really good food"
"It was a lovely diner with awesome service. Not a foodie kinda place though. Just an ordinary diner with ordinary food. I had the lumber inn skillet with the potatoes on the side and eggs over easy on top. The sirloin steak wasn't properly cleaned or cut. Some pieces were too big and some too little. It was like I got all the odds and ends of leftover meat. A lot of the pieces also had big chunks of fat or long pieces of ligament that I couldn't chew through. It was one of their pricier dishes so I expected better. Eggs were cooked perfectly. My older friend had the Patty Melt. She said you can't go wrong with this. And liked it. Also a random "surcharge fee" at the end of the meal (just a dollar and four cents) but I have no idea what that's for. Surcharges should be disclosed."
"Cute small restaurant right off of the highway. The atmosphere was really nice. Prices were very reasonable, I had two eggs, toast and potatoes and it was only 8$. Service was mediocre. We noticed a sign with seasonal specials only after we had ordered our food, I wish someone had pointed them out, as I would have tried the pumpkin pancakes. Server was friendly but never checked to see how we liked the food and only came back to offer refills on beverages after we had eaten all of our food. Food quality was pretty good and came out quickly. I’d give it a shot again if I was in the area"
