"Found 22 clothing items, some 50%off, extremely reasonable. Some still had store and garment tags on them!!"
"Is it really company policy to turn off the lights 15 minutes BEFORE close? Making an announcement to “bring final items to the checkout” starting a whole half hour before close and then every 5 minutes is very unprofessional. Everyone has worked a job where they can’t wait for all the customers to clear out so they can close up and go home. But really?"
"Relatively organized store, decent prices, lovely employees"
"This is the most bougie Goodwill I've ever visited. Out front, the parking lot was full, and I mean *full*, of lambos and Range Rovers, and the clothes inside reflected that. There were name brands galore, as well as the not-so-uncommon luxury brand. Needless to say, the selection was excellent. The prices were a bit high for a Goodwill, but all the clothing was still sitting at around a 90% discount. The lines at the dressing room were pretty long, but this was hardly surprising given that the store was so large and busy. This store, more than any I've ever been to, puts in the W in Goodwill."
"Be careful at the register and make sure you know what the prices are listed at on the items you take up. Today my wife went to this location and found a piece that she had spotted about a week and a half ago originally listed at $6.99 but she passed on it at that time. It had the same pricing sticker and their orange sticker indicating half off on it today so she went to take it. When she got to the counter the checkout person took the piece, looked it over and then suddenly decided they needed to take it to the back to verify something. When they came back not only was the orange sticker removed but the $6.99 sticker was replaced with a $9.99 sticker. I know that we are only talking about $3 here on something that is normally much higher value, but this is a highly deceptive and potentially fraudulent practice to raise the price after it gets to the register. I could overlook the half off sticker as potentially being a mistake but then not honoring a price that was on it for at least a week and a half in my opinion is a horrible business practice. Needless to say my wife confronted the checkout person over it and not only received a complete brushoff over it as if the original sticker was never on there, but was told it was miss marked and if she wanted it she would have to pay the new marked price. Then as if not caring that the store had effectively swindled a customer in doing this they still proceeded to ask if my wife wanted to donate to their cause at the end of the transaction. To me, I cant trust a company that doesnt honor what they list a product at, so why would we trust them with any further donations. I may update this review if I receive word back from Goodwill's SE Wisconsin corporate headquarters."
