Classic Slice

"First time visiting this place was strongly recommended my friend so I figured I’d try it out! Big mistake! I had order 45 minutes ahead of time , it Was supposed to be one of the best place for organic pizza! Walked in the place about 330 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. There wasn’t a soul in the place, so I stood there for like 10 minutes before anyone could come to the front desk ! Finally, this lady came out and say I’m sorry, but I didn’t see you! She brought out my order , when I looked at my pizza It was all burnt from the top. I mentioned this to her and she said they would take another 45 minutes to make a new one. So I said forget it. I’ll just take off the burnt and eat it, so I took it home. Except for my surprise when I got home it wasn’t only burnt on the top. It was also burnt on the bottom as you can see in my pictures. I wouldn’t eat in this place ever again even if they pay me! of course this cost me $18 too much for the quality of the food! never again!"

"I really wish this place wouldn't have been closed when Dave Portnoy was visiting Milwaukee. I think he would have given the pizza something between an 8.1 and an 8.3 adjusted for a Midwest scale. The pizza here is super fresh, and creative. The crust and the sauce in particular stand out. The slices are giant and the atmosphere is charming."

"I'm sure Classic Slice could make a lovely Avocado Salad. But I will never know. I'm here for the pizza. It's decidedly New York style, either by the giant slice or by the pie. Yeah, the menu has other stuff that I am unlikely to ever review, because pizza. And the pizza goes from the pepperoni standard to the unique with cheese curds, jalapenos, and bacon. Service is friendly."

"I found this place thanks to Dave Portnoy who’s always doing pizza reviews. When he came here they were actually close but, I had to stop by and try it. The pizza was really good. I decided to dine in and do a medium pizza half with pineapple and bacon. While some people don’t like pineapple on pizza I have to strongly disagree. Great pizza overall and I’m glad I have a new spot to eat pizza. The environment inside is pretty cool and it’s a good vibe overall. The place is well lit including the exterior of the building. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good pizza!"
