Great Hunan Restaurant 111 West 3rd Street, Winona, MN 55987

"I ordered three meals. Chicken lomein, orange chicken with fried rice and general tso's chicken with fried rice. I repeated the meals twice. And the lady even read it back to me. Then another lady took over the phone and I also told her the three meals. I also made sure to ask them to include the same size rice portions for each chicken meal because the last 4-5 times, we get one big/normal size rice and then a tiny container of rice. The meals cost the same. Why are you not giving me the same container sizes of rice? Then when I get there to pick up, my order was wrong. It took awhile to finally get refunded properly and then I was charged for the meal that they forgot. Honestly at that point, it should have been comped. Then when i get home, I get the food out of the bag and I see that I was given one larger sized rice and one small one. Which I made sure to ask them not to do. But to make things worse, the large one was white rice and I specifically ordered fried rice for both. I'm not very pleased at all. We have been going here for the last 8 years but ever since covid, it seems to have gone down hill. They used to include soup and an egg roll or crab Rangoon in the meals but now they don't. The prices are very high too, $14.50 for one meal."

"No stars for such a disappointing experience. Food was way below the standards of the previous owners. I loved this place before the owner changed and now I would strongly advise you don't waste your money. Take out was cold, fried in old oil, greasy. That was the flavor. Old and greasy. Ordered $50+ in food and not worth half that, and we were shorted a side of fried rice for one of the entrees."

"Spent $50 on a carry out, got my food home the soup had no vegetables in it general tasso no sauce my chow mein had cabbage in it was horrible. Will not be returning will travel a few miles for a good Chinese meal."

"This place was horrible. The food was terrible, watery, bland, and no taste or flavor. Rice was undercooked. Egg rolls look big and delicious but have no flavor. Crab Rangoon were over cooked and hardly anything it, definitely no crab. Ordered for pick up, ended up paying 20% more than I calculated it to be. Price wasn't given until pick up, with no receipt."

"For 8.25 you get an entire meal. Soup, egg roll, and entree. It’s all cooked fresh to order. No Buffet here. Always consistently good and reasonable."
