"We almost went elsewhere but read that place's reviews directing us to come here... good save! Our group is staying at the Decorah High Point Cabins for the weekend looking for local flavor. Boy, did we find it at the Old Rossville Store! From steaks to chicken to the Friday night cod it was all cooked and served to delicious perfection! My husband's pork tenderloin was the only low point of the meal because it appeared to have come straight out of the freezer into the fryer (leaving him with broasted cod envy) but other than that we couldn't find fault. The food, service, atmosphere, and price easily make this the best meal anyone in our group has enjoyed in years. Thank you!"

"I really enjoy a place that has the Old Supper Club feel. The Old Rossville has that exact feeling. A good Salad Bar is a must and they don't disappoint !! They even had my favorite..a large bowl of Pickled Herring ! My Prime Rib was cooked perfectly and I just needed to add a little Garlic Salt and my beloved Black Pepper and it was golden !! For just $6 more I got three deep fried Jumbo Shrimp. All this at a extremely reasonable price. Definitely zero room for dessert."
