"Watch your bill after you leave tip, was charged $10 more then what I wrote on the slip. My daughter ordered one of the specials and the chicken was over cooked. My French fries must have been in a warmer for while dried out. My burger was good. Even better you get a response to email them and you get a return email of "Jessica Olson is no longer with Northern Taphouse" Wow!!"

"I really enjoyed this place! We came here for the bloody mary of the month. I ended up getting the soup flight as well, chicken wild rice, tomato, and cheesy broccoli. They were all delicious. The bloody mary could've been a meal itself with all the bacon toppings! The staff was super friendly. We sat at the bar. Not only did the bartender make sure everything was good, but the waitresses made sure we were enjoying our items as well."

"I ordered the jalapeño bacon burger which had a mild taste but wasn’t bad. We also ordered the roasted brussels sprouts and the boneless chicken curry Yummmm. If I ever make it back it would be for the curry and sprouts. My server wasn’t very nice at all, she brought out my food and pretty much tossed my plate at me which had hot soup on it. Otherwise it’s a well kept up restaurant with plenty of TV’s to watch the games."

"This was our first visit, and it was great! We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was friendly, portions were huge, and food was delicious. We had the coconut curry wings and chicken fajita nachos. Yum! We'll stop in again when we go through town."

"My daughter and I visited Northern Taphouse around 4pm on a Tuesday. We were immediately seated as it wasn’t yet busy. Our friendly server visited us immediately and I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries and my daughter ordered the Walleye Tacos with Baked French Onion Soup. It didn’t take long for our food to arrive. The chicken sandwich was nice and spicy although a bit dry. I thought it needed at least double the sauce that was on the bun. The fries were fine- nothing stand out. My daughter really loved her tacos and ate all 3! I thought it was a generous serving. The restaurant is just a bit loud for our liking due to its open nature. Also, I always think it looks bad when all the employees are hanging out in a big group. This was a good option for a quick early meal."
