"I also had a bad first time experience here. I'm a girl who likes to to ware men's clothing especially shirts because they fit alot better. When I grabbed a couple shirts a lady almost didn't give them to me. Said they were very low on men's clothing. Never completely explained why I couldn't but one of the ladies told me it was alright. A few of them gave me dirty looks as I left the building. I honestly don't care about they think I'm still getting clothes from here before I leave town. They are just a bunch of cranky old ladies that have nothing better to do with their lives but complain"
"Humans helping other humans get necessary clothes and household items! If you are in need of these items stop in on a Thursday open til 4pm closed for lunch 12 to 1pm."
"It was very humbling the first time I visited King's Closet but the volunteers were so nice and helpful. Now it's the first place I donate clothing and certain other items because I feel like I am giving back."
"While the clothing is clean and so appreciated..the attitude of the volunteers leaves a lot for improvement. I guess if you are not homeless or going it is easy to assume someone else is beneath you..but maybe you shouldn't be a volunteers if you are so disgusted and mistrustfull of the poor. We are not all thieves and low life's. We all have a story"
"I have dropped off clothes there and was welcomed in by wonderful volunteers! It's not a very big place but so nice to know there is a place where people who need help can go and get clothes and items for their home. I love the store and how it helps people in need. We are all only a couple paychecks away from needing help ourselves. We need more people to help out. Pay it forward and you will find peace."
