"Sent me terrible shoes that had a 5 star rating And wants me to pay to return a defective product"

"I bought work shoes from them at the end of april , used them til October and they started tearing in front where your foot naturally bends . sent them pics to show where the damage was and they decided it was normal wear and tear and will not replace them even though they have a 12 month warranty ."

"This company was also called mid west boots that is now shut down I'm sure because of the way they do business. Buyers beware the return policy is basically you cant try on the boots. I sent back brand new shoes tried them on in my house only to get my exchange declined. Ripping me off 109 dollars I reported this to my credit card and Wisconsin BBB and will continue to report and leave reviews anywhere possible to spread the word on the fraud of this company. No wonder they have a 1 star review they need shut down AGAIN!! I come from 11 years as a territory manager for a 50 million dollar a year company. This is not how you do business."

"First Off, I would give 0 stars if it was an option. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a pair of boots, tried ONE boot on over carpet, (It never touched the ground) realized it was way to small, so i took it off and put the ONE boot back in the box. I contacted the company and they told me to fill out the form and they would email me a return label. After about two weeks of waiting for the email that never came, I went to the site and printed up the form, filled it out, asked for an exchange (Same boots, just a larger size) took the package to a UPS store, paid for the shipping back to them and sent it off. No contact at all from them, and about two weeks later I got the same box back with a note that said refund/exchange refused due to scuffing and (a coupon for $20 off if I spend $100 or more). I called their customer service the next day, and they weren't willing to help in any way. They told me they took pictures of the shoes and that there were rocks in the sole, and heavy scuffing on top. So my word against theirs. I don't see how that could have been possible since only one shoe was taken out of the box and it was never even placed on the ground. Long story short, I'm out $130 bucks and stuck with a pair of boots that don't fit."
