"Describe your experience at Daisy's Montessori House... Our daughter is currently 18 months old and started at Daisy's at 10 months old. I can honestly say Daisy is one of the most special people I have ever met. I still can't believe we are so lucky to be in her program. What I love. It is a small, personal, program. Daisy helps accommodate our special personal requests, most of ours are food based and I know that a large daycare could not. The Montessori aspects of Daisy's program, I feel are beyond value. We read Montessori from the Start when our daughter was an infant and we were hooked on the idea of fostering independence. We have learned so much from Daisy. And our daughter has learned so many amazing personal life skills from being with Daisy. Our families and friends are always amazed at how she can feed herself, hold and use a glass, help put on her own shirt, and the list goes on. Beyond that she is learning to use her words when she needs something. If our dog is in her way she doesn't push him, she says 'by please' and she sneaks around. Daisy watches the kids, their interactions, and teaches them how to be in the world in a patient, kind and amazingly intuitive way. Most importantly our daughter is flourishing there. It reasonably so took awhile for her to get used to mommy dropping her off. She cried for the first 2 weeks or so. Now when we get there she tells me, "mama go!" Sometimes she starts talking about mama going at breakfast. And on the weekend she will ask about Daisy. I could either find this annoying or truly wonderful, and I see the later. I choose to work so with that choice comes finding someone to care for my daughter. I am so happy that that someone is Daisy."
