"This used to be our go-to shop, but the prices are now outrageous, reportedly due to new ownership. After embarrassingly having to pay a ridiculous amount for routine services without a price change being disclosed to us ahead of time, we will be finding a new shop. I must, however, point out that we have never had a bad experience with the talent at Next Gen. They are always friendly, personable, and professional. Unfortunately, that does not cover the abhorrent prices they are now setting."

"Update: I've been back twice since this initial review and I still give 5 stars. I'm given quotes, updates, staff are friendly, and I like that they have coffee, water, and some snacks while you wait. Prices are reasonable in my opinion and this time I got 20% off. I will continue using next gen as my primary auto repair shop. Joe and rest of staff are great! They're always honest with what needs to be done, what can wait, and they tell me exactly how much things will cost. Got my rear brakes replaced today and a free tire rotation. I don't live in Hudson anymore but I make the 50 minute trip because I trust them."
