Reviews
"We went on Sunday evening, the place was very busy. The cheese bread and pizza both outstanding. The owners and staff all are so friendly and do a great job."
"I rarely leave reviews for anything, and I do not like to leave negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary to help others when choosing a restaurant to dine at. We are relatively new to the Hudson area, so I knew nothing of this restaurant before dining here. If you are looking for a good Italian meal, I don’t think this is your place. My family and I went to dinner here last night. Husband got the deep dish pizza & was not impressed with it. We did live in the Chicago area and have had deep dish at many places. I did not taste it, so I cannot comment on that. The salads were made with shredded lettuce and had tomato and croutons. The mostaccioli was rather bland and could’ve used more sauce, cheese, and meat (comes with 1 meatball, not large) The chicken Alfredo was made with spaghetti noodles, which I have NEVER had before with ordering many times. It tasted very much like a jarred Alfredo sauce, and rather than nice slices of grilled chicken, they offered up cubed, processed chicken. Again, that was not very flavorful. Also, a good Alfredo sauce, when reheating the next day for leftover, usually separates a little bit with your butter/cream…didn’t happen. Even the buttered, grilled piece of bread was disappointing. I did appreciate the cookies that were brought with our bill. Our server was friendly and provided adequate service. You really need to try to do better with the flavors & quality of your food if you want people to return again. I want to enjoy the food I pay good money for."
"I enjoyed my very first calzone, and all I can say is wow, I’ve been missing out. It was delicious. Filled with your favorite pizza toppings and cheese and homemade red sauce over the top. Highly recommend. I also love the way the dining room is set up, allows for privacy for your own table. Very enjoyable experience."
"I really love their pizza here but recently I took some friends here and we all had pasta. Somewhat disappointing! I had chicken Parmesan and there was barely any chicken under the cheese and you could tell it was just chicken strips. So when I asked for a shaker of Parmesan the waitress said we don’t have any I was quite taken back. She brought me out little packets! Then with the bread we got with our pasta we asked for some butter and was told they don’t have butter… very odd for an Italian restaurant to not have Parmesan or butter! Come on!"
