"Excellent waitress. 8 in our group and ordered 8 different meals. All of us were satisfied. Recommended by folks running grade school girls basketball event at high school. I'm sure glad I asked."

"Let me preface this by saying I have server experience. This visit and final visit to Lakeview were very sad. Must have been (another) off day for this restaurant. We were shown to the very back table....and our waitress forgot us. It took over an hour for our food because she either forgot to enter our orders or forgot our orders under a heat lamp too long while the cooks hurriedly cooked the items missed. I and my friend ordered a simple Reuben. The toast was burnt and not edible. She choked hers down, but I refused to eat it after one bite. It was not worth $14. Our server NEVER came back to check on us. NEVER. No apologies, no refills. I had to hunt her down to check on the order. We saw other customers that came in AFTER us, get served way before us...yes, they had our server, We waited over an hour for food. We had already walked up to the bar to cancel the order and just pay for our sodas, just as she began to bring our food out. Cold pasta Alfredo, cold sandwiches, either overcooked or cold, cheese curds that had no cheese in them because these were overcooked and the cheese ran out, plus these were cold by the time we were served. Steak bites were overcooked and cold. IN SPITE OF THIS, we still left our server a tip. People have off days, so not all of it may have been her fault. ALL THE SERVER HAD TO DO WAS CHECK IN ON US. That's it. It wasn't too busy. This is actually my 2nd time having bad service there. A few years back, my husband and I drove down to Lakeview for Friday fish. We had a cocktail at the bar, then waited to be seated when we were FINALLY told to seat ourselves by the bartender on duty that evening. People came in through the restaurant entrance and immediately greeted by a server/hostess. They were seated, orders taken. We were overlooked, and 30 minutes later, we went to the bartender to pay for our 2 drinks and told him why we were leaving. He was a younger bartender and didn't have experience. He offered to serve us at the bar, but we were done. Again, it wasn't very busy, so it shouldn't have been a problem for us to get served."

"Went to the Lakeview after striking out at other restaurants for my birthday/anniversary weekend. We had Ashley as our server and she has the best personality! She recommended things for our dinner which were very good. Abby was our bartender and she did a great job too! We will definitely be back!! Great job and thank you for making my birthday awesome!!"

"This is a great place to go. Greeted when we came in buy friendly people. Very nice seating inside and clean. Rest rooms are clean. They have a very nice menu and generous portions. The Bloody Marys are awesome. The waitress did a great job. Would definitely come back again. ATV friendly place. They also have some big screen TV's so you can watch your favorite games. The cheese curds were great!!"
