"We love Discovery Tree P Street! My son is in the infant area and my daughter recently started Kindergarten, but was at this school for a little over a year. The teachers truly care about the kids and communicate well. It’s really convenient for me, as I work in the building. I like that it has extra security, right in the lobby as well!"

"My children each started at Discovery Tree (P Street) at 4 months old. My oldest was there until he began Kindergarten, my twins are currently still there in the preschool program. I cannot speak highly enough about the caring and loving environment that the school provides for them. The teachers are wonderful, energetic and constantly come up with new and creative ways to teach. Discovery Tree sets up a great foundation for kids to transition directly into elementary school without any issues. If you're looking for a fun, safe environment for your little ones to develop strong educational and life skills for childhood this is the school for you."

"Not sure why this review was deleted, but luckily I had it saved from 3 years ago: If you want a better idea of what this place is like, look at the "filtered reviews." We both work, and got 24 hours notice that they were "terminating" our 3 year old (i.e., asking her to leave). No working with special needs, no reasonable accommodation. This all happened because my child was promoted out of the toddler room when we were VERY clear to management that she was not ready for it. They have HUGE turnover; if your child has trouble bonding or with attachment, this is not the place for you, as you cannot depend on the staff not to change every month or two. The only thing I can say that is great about this place is the staff in the infant room and toddler room. The "director" is constantly arguing with staff, and the board doesn't do anything but rubber-stamp her decisions. The outdoor area is tiny and cramped ... there are plenty of other places in the area that are less expensive and have less turnover, more qualified staff, and nicer physical plant."
