"My daughter attended here for several months. I admit she learned a lot with Ms Annie and after a few weeks of attending loved coming to school. However, I could not afford it and was seeking assistance from RCOE. Her daycare was underneath the list of providers that accepted this payment, so I did not worry about it. After months of paperwork, I finally was accepted to start receiving assistance. Even though they would be receiving the same payment every week, just less from me and more from RCOE, she was not willing to compromise and made us leave. Forcing me to cancel all my upcoming jobs until I found another provider. If you can only afford part time care, or are planning to pay through RCOE. I would recommend finding someone else."

"At first this place seemed perfect for our childs day care, she seemed very nice and professional. After paying 2 months to hold a spot for our child. He finally could attened this daycare. Shortly after he started attending this daycare we noticed Ms. Anita started to be very rude when picking up our child from daycare to my wife and I for no real reason. Reasons for maybe not packing enough burp clothes or a seperate bag for dirty clothes (Because we are first time parents). Instead of being nice about little things like this and communicating in a nicer tone she was very demanding and would make us feel incompetent to the point my wife would have her day ruined. Finally, after being extremely rude and yelling at my wife she let us go from her daycare over spilled milk! She seems very deceiving and I would not recommend this place."

"Parents: Run - don't walk - to secure a place with Anita! I have been a Children's Ministry Director in the highly competitive Washington D.C area for many years, and Anita was by far the most dedicated, conscientious, and loving teacher/caregiver I've had the privilege to work with. Anita taught in our children's ministry program, and I also had the opportunity to observe her in her home daycare setting. I so wish she had been around when I needed care for my own children. Anita approaches her job as a true vocation rather than a paycheck, and takes every opportunity to learn more about children, safety, and how to better meet the needs of the families she serves. "We were so thrilled to find Anita as first time parents. I can honestly say there is no other daycare like her. She goes above and beyond anything you would expect from her. She loved our baby like she was her own daughter. She was invested in our lives and became a part of our parenting team. She also gave us a lot of great advice and calmed anxieties about being first time parents. Anita also is so creative and very involved with the children. She has fun activities planned for them every day. Our baby often came home with colorful art projects for every holiday and occasion. We loved the brightwheel app. Anita sent updates throughout the day including videos and photos so we could see what our baby was doing. They would play in water outside in the summer, have dance parties, circle time, go on walks, etc... Even now that our baby is no longer at Assurance, Anita is still in touch asking how we are doing and asking after our baby's welfare. If you go to Assurance, Anita will become part of your family and your baby will become part of hers. I often would pick up my baby at the end of the day and she would be sitting on Peter's lap, or playing with Gabby and Belinda. Consider yourself very lucky if you get to have this wonderful, sweet family in your life. I don't have the words to describe how grateful we are to Anita. She is the absolute best!"
