"Patita is juicy and flavorful. Service is excellent. This is a great place for a casual date night but still feel hip and cool."
"This location is inside the Sawtelle centre. There is parking within the premises, but sometimes it's hard to find a spot. There are about 4 small places in there, and we went for Spoon and Pork. We were immediately greeted and sat. Then, the server came and took our order. We decided to try some Pinoy beer and went for the San Miguel cerveza Negra. It did not disappoint, almost tasted like a Negra modelo, very nutty. Then we went and almost got the whole menu. We shared some lumpia and Brussel sprouts. Then we got 2 sides of rice. Garlic rice and adobo rice. I have to say I expected the adobo rice to have a different taste. Either way, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. We also got bistek and kare kare. All delicious food A small little restaurant with big flavor."
"Delish!! We got the lunch special, and it came with rice ( you can even upgrade to garlic rice). Also, we got the calamansi juice, and it was sharable."
"We were very hopeful going into this place because of the hype they've received on line. I love the idea of putting a fresh spin on traditional dishes, but for some of the dishes we tried, it just did not work very well. The patita sadly disappointed because of the sauce that took away from the crunch of the fried pork skin. The kare kare was decent, with the short rib meat fork tender and all. But nothing beats the robust flavor of ox tails for kare kare. The beef tapa was decent, but not the best I've had. Overall, the food was pricey, ambience so-so, the service was pretty efficient. The dining experience was only a 3 for us."
"I absolutely loved this place. I’ve never had Filipino food before so this was a new experience for me. Our group got four different dishes and shared them all and I loved each dish - sharing made it even better because they were all so good! My favorite was the Adobo Pork Belly, my friend’s favorite was the lechon kawali, my sister in law’s favorite was the Calderata Bravas, my husband’s favorite was the adobo belly nigiri appetizer. It wasn’t anyone’s absolute top dish, but we also ordered the adobo fried chicken and everyone loved it a lot. I think we all loved everything except one of us didn’t love any of the pork belly dishes. I personally thought they were fantastic though! I’m definitely saving this spot mentally as a place to take friends to when they come to visit us in LA."
