"Valentina and her team have gently stewarded my son (and his first time parent's) through each stage of growth. I am constantly surprised by the new social, emotional, academic and practical skills he brings home; from enthusiastically self initiating counting and letters practice, to putting on his own socks. The small, mixed age group environment has allowed him to learn countless social skills from older and younger children. The teachers have also been able to respond specifically to Arash's specific developmental needs as they change. They also spend a lot of their day outside playing, learning and connecting with nature. Valentina's has been a wonderful first daycare/school environment for over 2 years."

"My daughter and our family absolutely LOVE Valentina's! My child has been attending this Preschool for over 2 years and we have had such a wonderful experience. There is such a beautiful balance of fun and learning and the teachers are so involved with projects and activities. We look forward to Friday's when our daughter brings home her 'projects' from the week and presents them to us. From paintings to innovative sculptures made from toilet paper rolls, glitter and twigs as well as 'tracing' (learning to write) and special 'themed' art work (Mother's day cards etc). Valentina herself is so committed to her work and her own growth in the field (updating parents about what courses she is attending for example) and treats the students with kindness and compassion. We could not have hoped for a better School/child care to start our child off at (especially as new parents with a one year old at the time). As our daughter gets ready to say goodbye to this magical little School (she will be 'graduating' with the other 4 year olds this Summer) we can only hope that her future educational experiences will live up to the high standard that Valentina's has set. Oh and one more thing.. Not only does Valentina's provide snacks and lunch and "delicious food" as my daughter says but they also provide breakfast to the kids when they get there which is AMAZING in terms of helping you to get out the door quickly with a little one in the morning. I know how hard it is finding childcare you can rely on in this city so if you are reading this, do yourself a favor and enroll your child in this little School (if there is space!), it might be one of the best decisions you ever made!"

"My daughter went to Valentina’s preschool for a year and half until we moved out of state and we had a great experience there. Unlike large corporate-based learning centers, my daughter was getting attentions and care from personable teachers. For parents, the director and teachers were available for questions or discussions when we needed tips on how to handle difficult behaviors and when we had developmental concerns. We also liked how their learning was all incorporated into “play”. The program has different themes every week, and they teach related words in English and Spanish. My daughter brought home her projects or talked about what she learned, and we very much enjoyed seeing her having fun learning. If we didn’t move out of state, we wanted to send our second child there."

"My daughter LOVES going to preschool! She has made so many friends, including her teachers. My infant son comes with me to pick up my daughter and he is always showered with love when we come. I will definitely be sending him here when he's old enough because I already know he is loved and adored here. I also love how small the class size is; she's given more attention than she normally would and the kids are a close-knit group. They give us a curriculum each month explaining what the kids will be learning. I can ask my daughter better questions about her day and get better responses from her because I know what they're teaching. (Because the generic "how was your day" doesn't get me any answers!) Highly recommend it here!"
