"They carry utensil items you see at most Vietnamese Pho Restaurants. Prices are fair and useful. I purchased a Tiger Rice Cooker replacement pot. The same item online was selling for $75 but MV Housewares sold it for $50. Furthermore, this is a mom and pop store so they have low margins and theft can wipe their profits clean. Having said this the couple will look at you more closely just in case a shopper decides to hide an item or two. You have to know where you are shopping and not get personally offended."

"Attention to all the customers when you go shopping at M.V.Housewares locates at 1111 Story Rd # 1110 San Jose Ca 95112. The owner and employees are creepy and dishonest. My wife is a vietnamese and doesn’t understand much English. My wife purchased a pot that made in Japan but they gave her a pot that made in China. We went back to the store to return it but the didn’t accept it because of the policy didn’t allow customers return or refund. They offer only 7 days exchange or store credit even though my wife purchased less than in 24 hours. For my opinion the M.V.Houewares Store is a really bad store. Employees are not friendly and dishonest. They are liars. Telling somethings are not true to Customers. So we have so many stores in the Bay Area selling appliances where you can return a merchandise in 30 days. In the other hand The M.V Housewares Store won’t allow customers return or refund, only exchange."

"They've got everything you could possibly want and then some. Aisles are a bit narrow but not too crowded to worry about. Credit cards accepted for $10 min purchase"

"I would not recommend buying any sort of appliance at this establishment. Everything they sell is either defective or used but they sell it as new. Along with that they have a very strict no money guarantee that lasts 7 days on the receipt even though they advertise it as 2 weeks. Using these two tools, they try to coax more money off the customer on a supposedly "better" product, so that when it fails a month later they can hide behind their no money back guarantee. The rice cooker we returned because it was broken was put up the next day for someone else to buy so they can repeat the process. Buy from someplace else that doesn't have to resort to backhanded methods in order to make money."
