Cal-Tot Child Care Center

Cal-Tot Child Care Center, located at 300 South Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, is a play-based child care and preschool program situated in the Ronald Reagan State Building. Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and managed by Creative Child, Cal-Tot offers quality care and early childhood education for families of state employees and members of the downtown and surrounding Los Angeles communities. With a capacity for up to sixty-five children aged six weeks through five years, Cal-Tot prioritizes safety amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by adhering to guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division. Safety protocols include screening upon arrival, mandatory mask-wearing for staff and children over 2 years old, and regular sanitation of toys and high-touch areas.
