"As much as I would love to give it a five-star rating, I have to give it one star because of this incident. (If I could give it no stars, I would). Recently, I cashed in my lottery tickets here, and the clerk attempted to cheat me out of my winnings. Before entering the store, I knew how much money I would receive after scanning the tickets on the CA lottery app. This liquor store was a place I frequented to purchase lottery tickets, and I continuously told them each time I played that I was going to win the jackpot someday. Whether the clerk(s) believe me or not, it doesn't matter because I vowed never to play or do business at this liquor store again. I'm just one former customer who may never make a dent in their revenue. However, I will say this if it does help the next person reading this, if you have a winning lottery ticket or scratcher, it's best to go to a convenience store that allows you to self-scan it, find a legit lottery store with honest workers, or even better download the CA lottery app."

"This place has been ruined by new ownership. Prices are outrageous. For example 12 pack of domestic beer will be 16.99 to 18.99. that is if you are lucky enough to get the 12 pack price. Usually they charge you individual can price and multiply by 12 so it ends up being even more. Also they don't regulate the line and always let people push their way to the front of the line with no respect for who was already waiting."
