"First let me say that Tammy Mercado is my niece. What she did to me contributed to reducing my life situation to the point of homelessness. Tammy, at the request of my mother, wrote a will/ trust naming me sole beneficiary to receive her mobile home in the event of her death. I witnessed this signing and, took care of Mom for three years. Her health declined to the point where I couldn’t give her the help she needed anymore. From that point on, she was re located to Tammy’s mother’s, my sister) house for further care. Mom was in second stages of dementia. I was refused replies to my requests for visitation as well as copy’s of Trust documents! Try as I did, Tammy nor my sister would reply to my requests. With no other options, I retained an attorney. His letters were also ignored! Four months after Mom was taken to my sister’s home, she died! I wasn’t even informed of how or where she passed! Months went by with more letters of demand from my attorney. Finally, Tammy and my sister replied stateing that there never was a will/trust written and produced a newly written one signed by my mother four months before her death! In regards to Ms. Mercado, she denied writing the will and, obviously destroyed it being that it was evidence and proof that I was to receive proceeds from my mom’s house! Tammy is a lier and destroyed legal documents that took away the proceeds my mother wished for me to have. Furthermore, I was denied visitation with my mother the last four months of her life! Then, denied being informed of her death! Tammy was a key figure in this travesty of justice and immoral and unethical behavior! If she would do this to her own Uncle, what would she do and, how far would she go to an unrelated client? Her actions are what gives ethical attorneys a bad name and she doesn’t deserve to be retained by anyone that has good values and common decency! I hope this review will serve as a warning and disclosure of the real Tammy Mercado. Be ware of this unethical attorney."
