About Us
Bay Spa, located at 2908 El Camino Real in Santa Clara, California, is the largest spa in the Bay Area, offering a wide range of traditional Korean sauna rooms and services. With 17,000 square feet of space, Bay Spa provides a luxurious and relaxing environment for guests to unwind and rejuvenate.
Upon admission to Bay Spa for $40, guests can enjoy a 30-minute complimentary massage chair session. This fee is waived with the purchase of any spa treatment. The facilities at Bay Spa include gender-separated locker rooms with hot jacuzzis, ice plunge pools, dry and steam saunas, as well as co-ed saunas such as the Himalayan Salt Room, Mud Balls Room, Jade Room, and Ice Room.
Guests can relax in co-ed lounges with spacious desks and recliners, and there are designated resting and sleeping areas for both men and women. Kids aged 4-12 are welcome with supervision by a parent or guardian, with an admission fee of $20.
No swimsuits are allowed at Bay Spa, and uniforms are provided upon arrival. The spa is open to the public for a day pass purchase in-person only, with no re-entry allowed. "I have been in this spa several times and liked it a lot. Today's experience was slightly different- they introduced a cafeteria on the first floor, where the kitchen has a wide open door to the relaxation room. Now it looks more like eatery than the spa. Really strange combination. But the worst part is the strong smell of Korean food in the relaxation room and in all 4 spas that are on the first floor."
"1st time trying a Korean Spa. The receptionist was very welcoming, she gave me a tour of the place. You get a wrist band, towels, slippers, locker & the bay spa uniform to walk around with. Down stairs they have free snacks(1 per person), 4 rooms: dry sauna, ice room & a seating area to relax. The rooms are not too big so you might have to wait if it's busy. Upstairs they have the massage chairs you can use for 30mins, the massage rooms, scrub area for both men & women. I tried the body scrub for 30mins. Make sure to bring cash for tips cos they will chase you down. Try it if you are adventurous."
"While there's at least 5 other Korean spas in the bay area (but most likely more; I am just uninformed about them), this one is the only one with top-of-the-line massage chairs. I recommend hopping on the ones with the screens to make easy adjustments. They have two small pools which is the same as most in this area. There's a frigid one and a warm one with jets. I feel like the latter should have a higher temperature. The jade and the salt room have only about ~6 spaces for people to lie down. It was crowded this past Saturday and we waited around for the spaces to free up. They have blow dryers, straighteners, and the standard amenities you would find at yoga/fitness studios."
