Reviews
"I received a truly excellent one hour Swedish massage from Jacob which was so good I will definitely go back! Although it was Swedish by definition it was extremely therapeutic and I am still reaping the benefits 2 days out."
"I had a very different and enjoyable massage with Mira at Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center at the Mount Madonna Institute. She was punctual and the room was nice and clean. Mira took the time to ask about how my body was feeling and she took it from there. I felt like she was a seasoned therapist and knew what my body needed as she definitely worked on the tightest areas. I would recommend her and the wellness center in general."
"Whether you are a yoga enthusiast or just need to decompress and reboot, this place is amazing. The community is welcoming, friendly and supportive. And they seem to go out of their way to make you feel at home. I stayed in one of the cabins which were deluxe, at least for my taste! I slept like a baby every night. The food was delicious, satisfying, and I felt contented during the entire stay. It may be one of the most peaceful retreats in memory! Take a break and check this place out. If there were more than 5 stars to give, I would!"
"A few reasons I would not return to this place of business are because I felt uncomfortable. During my massage the therapist did not tuck the sheet under my back leaving my breast slightly exposed. I also was extremely uncomfortable when the therapist's body continuously rubbed against my hand when my leg was being massaged. Finally, I noticed that their cell phone was in the room. This felt like an invasion of my privacy, especially since I tend to doze off or keep my eyes closed."
"Christine was my yoga therapist during my stay at Mount Madonna. It was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Christine was a mirror for me to discover my own path to letting go, being myself and feeling safe. I would highly recommend a yoga therapy session especially if, like me, you have a history of participating in traditional therapy and practicing yoga. The process was holistic and directed by my self determined areas of focus while helping me to make a brain, body and heart connection. Truly life affirming and changing."
