"Store was dirty, stock was non existent, one cashier with long line. I walked out and bought nothing. This was my first time in this store and never again"
"I am one of the people who always went to a different and very big 99-cent store next to whole foods before Jeff bezos raise the rent and killed it off. So this is the second place 99 and it only has about a half of the selection. But I did go there for some nice Staples that are still cheaper than Smart & final such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, Roma, ginger, cheese, spinach, and chapstick. And of course there's all the candy and soda and bottled water and cards and balloons and things that you need as well. This staff is super super nice."
"This place looked half bare. Very picked through and didn’t have nearly the same items I’d see at other dollar stores. Parking was horrendous. Tiny lot that is only one way on a busy Blvd. I would recommend going to another dollar store if you have the option."
"I have been visiting twice a week so far. Not actually everything is $.99, I think it is better to say Used to be 99 cents only store. I know it is due to the inflation and other factors, cannot blame them for that. Usually not too busy around 5pm and that is the time I usually visit. I find good deals here for banana, chips, bean sprout and oranges among others. Some items like eggs may not be cheaper. You just have to know what is good for your budget and needs. I bought an onion ring snack and it expired long time ago. The next day I bring in for refund and Deena, I think that is her name, is very grateful to refund then she proceeds to remove all the expired chips off the shelf. I just visited again earlier today, none of them is outside the expiration date. It does not provide everything we need from regular super market, but it also has something unique like bean sprouts that Ralph's don't usually carry and you also don't have to spend hours like in the supermarket. Across the street is a Starbucks where you can also have a hot chocolate in winter like now. I like this place, always grab something on my way back from exercise. A nice stop indeed."
"What's 99 cents here? Nearly nothing. No special prices, no low prices. It's a grocery store at a convenient location - and that's about it."
