"In my attempt to repair a seat cushion in my sofa that required a Marshall Spring unit, I came across FoamOnline. After checking out the website and following their directions on how to accurately measure and determine what foam to order, I ordered medium firm high resilience foam. First time ordering so was still unsure on what to expect. Well, can't be any happier. The foam was exactly what was needed, perfect size and firmness! So glad I found this website. Was able to repair the sofa seat for $90. Can't beat that! Would definitely recommend FoamOnline!"

"Foam quality and prices here are excellent. I followed the suggestion given here that 2" is a good minimum. However, 2" was out of proportion for my mid-century modern dining room chairs and it looked wrong (Photos). I should have worked from the original height of the padding. I figured out a way to cut it down with an electric knife (Photos) and found that for my chairs, a ~1" thick, firm, high quality foam cushion was more than enough to make a comfortable seat. I did place a 1/2" polyester batting layer over the foam, which is a routine for foam in upholstery. I was relieved that while my kluge method to reduce foam thickness resulted in a less than perfect surface, it didn't affect appearance or comfort. It was a bit mounded in the center, which was actually fine! I am glad I didn't have to toss the original foam pieces Now, what to do with the cutoffs. . ."

"Purchased new firmer foam for our 10 year old sofa cushions. The sofa was always too soft even when new and was getting even softer as time went on. The fabric was still in great condition and can be easily cleaned. We wanted really firm cushions after experiencing a few sofas with nice firm foam. "Great product. We redid some chairs from a set that is 115 years old. The website explained what a DYI needed to know to make the right selection. For our application a "high resilience foam." They recommend a 2" for cushions, but the chair was not designed for foam. They were able to provide a 1.5" which was a happy compromise so as not to raise the height too much. Happy with the outcome and the firmness of the seat cushion is just right. I have future projects and will be back as needed. A little longer lead time than expected, but worth the wait.
