"I've been going to camp to drop my son, Christian DaMoude. He has been going to a scouting camp since he was 10 years old and has made Eagle Scout with troop 81 out of Pinole,California .He has been on staffing 2014. Scouting has changed my son more into a kind man who teaches and volunteers in off-season to building and maintaining areas that need help . Also, girls are welcome now ."

"This campground is big! It’s located in the middle of the forest with thousand years old redwood trees which is amazing! The only question is no cell service. You should ask cell companies like Att provide coverage."

"Even though, this was my first experience of this kind of BSA campsite, Camp Royaneh exceeded my personal expectations in the woods and wilderness. Hosting Troop499, led by managing directors Matt, Christina, Rob, Liz and few ohers did fabulous job. In Matt's and Christina's leadership this team worked very well to create pleasant memories for everyone. It is a complete system package of trainings, activities, opt-in adventure, food, quality musicals, serenity, wellness, kindness, high energy and scouting rituals. Thanks to managing directors, leaders, coaches, trainers, so many to name. Catering Team in the dinning hall, worked very well with camp leadership to create good memories for visiting guests. I am sure, they all have own difficulties and challenges, but those did not show on brave leadership and smiling staff. Hope they are able to take away such good experiences with themselves too. "I've been going to Camp Royaneh since 2006 as a leader. The camp and grounds are kept up really nice. The Ranger really knows his stuff. The Camp Staff is one of the best staff I've encountered. They are extremely enthusiastic, love what they do (and show it), and they are all very knowledgeable about their jobs and camp as a whole. I highly recommend going to Camp Royaneh with your Troop if you're able to."
