"Michelle, the woman in charge is wonderful the program is wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars, however they hire people who should not be working around children as some (one woman in particular) who doesn't even have the common sense to be polite to a parent trying to diffuse an altercation between two young students. These two boys were running to line (something that is against school rules) and shoving each other (also agaisnt school rules) and fighting over a spot to sit. The parent went over and said "boys, boys" in a calm voice and the "YMCA employee " ran over and then turned to the parent and in a rude and snappy voice said "I've got it" which clearly she did not have it or the boys wouldn't have even been running let alone shoving and fighting over a spot. There was no "thank you for trying to help" or her focusing on diffusing the situation. Instead she felt the need to flex her "authority". She was very rude and I can imagine if she was that rude to a parent trying to help how must she act around children that aren't listening to directions....? She should have more training on how to be polite and use her voice in a more productive and professional manner. It was very off putting. I would absolutely not want my child being "cared for" by this person. A complaint will also be made directly to the YMCA as well."
