"I had the privilege of working at Kumon of Carmel for two and a half years. From the moment I joined, I was impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. Working as a main classroom assistant I learned to create personalized strategies for students while helping them become more academically independent. Many of the students I worked with came with a positive attitude and were happy to do well and of course earn themselves a Kumon dollar. What I appreciated most about the center was the students themselves. Even as they tackled challenging levels, they cracked jokes and were not afraid to ask for help when they needed it. My role as the main classroom assistant instructor was incredibly fulfilling and taught me many valuable skills. Mrs.Stuti Desai cares about the well-being and academic progress of all her students. As an instructor she motivates and encourages students to reach their full potential. The center's structured approach to learning, combined with personalized attention, sets students up for success. During my time at the center, I watched as students gained confidence and experienced a sense of pride in their accomplishments. I am very thankful to have gotten the opportunity to have worked with Mrs. Stuti Desai and her hard working team. "May I offer you the answer you’re looking for: sign up. It is not easy to know your child is struggling to reach their potential. Do not let any more time pass where your child could be at grade level or above grade level. I am an educator whose training was different from Kumon’s learning approach. I tried various reputable learning platforms and strategies with my child without success. I recognize that my child needed the structured, skill building format offered by Kumon. My child’s skill set and confidence in math has improved dramatically over the past year. Yes, I said “year.” Please understand you are investing in the learning process, and in our case (middle school), it meant stepping back and getting a handle on the foundational skills that were lacking - the math fluency necessary for skill advancement. "My son came on board at 2 years old and he wasn’t speaking yet so I decided to give Kumon a try. Ms. Stuti welcomed him and provided us assurance there will be improvement as long as we were consistent doing kumon at home.
