"Over the years, it seems as though the CCLD has been working to improve. Some analysts are amazing and work with you, others are a bit more strict and mean. I trust that they all mean well but sometimes the strict ones make you wonder if it's worth it. I look forward to their process and system being more user friendly, right now its pretty outdated but I get the feeling that due to the shut downs, they will be updating so I'm excited. This industry is so needed."

"The woman who answers the phone at this number is so rude!! She will not answer basic questions that she should have the answers to and transfers me to a number that does not answer or reroutes the call to a series of options that do not answer. Childcare is a serious business and she treats us like we are stupid. Her tone is condescending and demeaning. Another time I called to log an abuse report and The same woman treated me like I was just complaining and didn't have the right to report something as I was a substitute teacher at the time. NO. I am a mandated reporter and she is confused. Once again, childcare is a serious business and most workers are serious about their jobs. Licencing needs to get someone on their phone with a receptive, non-judgemental, listening ear that does not shut people down and is well-informed on basics."
