Alameda Island Kids at Edison is a state-licensed child care program located at 2700 Buena Vista Avenue in Alameda, California. Our program is specifically designed for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th, focusing on developing social skills, building confidence, and sparking curiosity. We offer a variety of age-appropriate activities such as arts and science, organized games, team sports, outdoor play, social emotional learning, and homework assistance.

We prioritize safety and adhere to all required organizational and Community Care Licensing regulations. To make changes to your enrollment, including cancellations, please submit the AIK Cancel/Change Form with a 30-day notice. Meyers Camp is available during select school breaks and holidays for current participants.

Our online registration process utilizes Procare Solutions, and enrollment is based on space availability and registration order. Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and returning families are given priority. A $50 non-refundable enrollment fee is due to complete registration.

Monthly fee invoices are shared on August 1st, with payment due by August 14th. The program starts on the first day of school, August 15th. For families who are currently enrolled, waitlisted, withdrew during the previous program year, or transferred, a re-registration process is in place with updates provided via email within 5 to 7 business days.
