Govardhan Montessori Pre-School

"Govardhan Preschool is undoubtedly the best montessori preschool in the Bay Area. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a quality preschool facility. The teachers are caring and nurturing, and they take great pride in instilling Indian values in the children. My child started going to this preschool when he was only 2 years old, and he has learned so much about Indian culture and traditions there. The preschool offers a unique Indian culture immersion program. Kids start their days with prayers and celebrate major Indian festivals. This helps with the following: * The children develop a sense of pride in their culture. * The children learn about different cultures and perspectives. * It helps children develop important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way. Along with this, here are some of the things I totally love about this preschool. * The staff is experienced and qualified. They have a deep understanding of Indian culture and traditions. * The preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment for children. * The preschool serves homemade fresh food daily. My kid totally loves the food. * The curriculum is well balanced for the needs of children. * The preschool shares a monthly newsletter with planned activities. * Many school events (like Mother’s day celebration, fathers day celebration, rath yatra) give the opportunity for the parents to get involved in the fun and amazing activities. If you are looking for a preschool that will provide your child with a strong foundation in Indian culture and values, I highly recommend this preschool. I would recommend that the school start an Indian culture immersion program once a week on weekends for school going kids (5 years old and above). This will help many parents to continue the deep cultural heritage that the school is imbibing into the children. The program could include activities such as learning about Indian history and culture, practicing Indian arts and crafts, and participating in Indian festivals. "Govardhan is a rare find of a preschool/daycare we found in Fremont with a mixture of cultural, Montessori activities and a sense of warmth that has kept my son engaged this has been extremely beneficial for my son, his overall development in the last 2 months that he has been is phenomenal and enriching. The teachers are highly dedicated and the effort they put is not only commendable but inspiring for us as parents. My son loves going here and we are extremely assured that our son is being taken care by some really amazing and patient teachers .My son has been learning a lot after going to school. There are many aspects that we have found extremely beneficial like starting the day with Prayer, the fresh food that is being provided to the kids here is really good and my son loves it and we as parents were extremely happy at his progress of eating diverse food provided at Govardhan Academy. In this limited time he has been here, he has participated in so many team activities like Ramayana skit, Dasavatara skit and Mother’s day song and dance presentation. We are completely awestruck at the way he is excited and participating in these events Highly recommended!!"

I've been very happy with the experience my child has had at Govardhan Academy. - The teachers (Shyama and Swapna) are patient, kind and always willing to go the extra mile for the children. - The curriculum is well-rounded and engaging. Both the teachers are creative and engage the children with activities in arts, crafts, letters, math and science. My child loves learning new things, and the teachers do a great job of making it fun. - I appreciate the focus on Indian culture, as it helps my child to connect with the heritage. They teach slokas, celebrate Indian Festivals and help the kids participate in cultural plays. - Most of all, I feel confident that my child is in good hands when at Govardhan Academy."

"For my 4 year old son, I am fortunate to find this gem in Fremont. Govardhan academy has a Montessori based curriculum which incorporates cultural traditions, celebrating festivals, spiritual aspect like shlokas, bhajans, yoga along with academics. The teachers are caring and loving and they serve freshly prepared vegetarian food. I would highly recommend Govardhan academy and happy to say that your little one will be in safe and secure hands."

"Govardhan Academy is the best Preschool in the Bay Area for Indian children to learn cultural values, great Indian epics, home-cooked sattvic food, and a joyful learning environment to grow our next generation. My daughter started at this school around 4 years and I have seen tremendous changes in clear speech, enhanced vocabulary, and knowledge of Indian festivals and traditions. The greatest compliment was when my family back home said my daughter has developed great spiritual awareness despite living in another country. Govardhan Academy has special course books for each age and puts a lot of effort into the curriculum. It also has a monthly newsletter for parents highlighting the month's activities.
