"My daughter was just there and I believe she saw Beata Sherman, NP. This woman was so rude and had no care for what my daughter was there for. If she is not able to be compassionate with patients, she shouldn't be a doctor, anywhere !!! Kaiser, you need to get a hold of your employess and teach them how to really care for people. Horrible !!!"
"Front desk staff was messing around and slowly processing people when there was already a long line. There was also a dad who claimed his little girl had been waiting 2 hours already after initial check-in with significant breathing problems. I saw her and yeah, she looked in a bad state. They finally took her in after awhile and of course, turfed her over to the ER. I waited so long even though so few patients were around? I napped about an hour or so. Made a few calls later. The nurse/NP who ultimately did my diagnosis was wrong on several things, including saying the one medication I was getting was prescription. She also contradicted herself several times. Another nurse right after said no, it's obviously otc."
"Urgent care at Kaiser is a joke. At least 4 other people that came in after me got called, seen, and released before I was called. When I asked why the rude receptionist just said it depends on the Dr. That's ridiculous you shouldn't have to wait based on the Dr."
"When I arrived before 9am there was already a line of about 20 or so people but as soon as they opened the line moved very fast!! I was in and out in less than 2 hours. 1 star is for the doctor who attended me. I had all of the symptoms of strep throat and I knew I needed antibiotics because I had been experiencing symptoms for 4 days now and not getting any better but rather worse. The doctor barely touched my jaw and said I felt fine, then when checking the inside of my mouth she said the otoscope did not have enough light and asked me to hold up my PHONE flashlight so that she could see more clearly. The nurse had mentioned I had white patches on the back of my throat and when I told the doctor this she said it was just food that was stuck there. She said she didn’t think I needed antibiotics and that it must be something viral. She gave me cough suppressants and prednisone. I woke up the next day feeling worse and with my voice gone I drove myself to the Kaiser in PANORAMA CITY where I was checked in within 10 minutes of arriving. The lovely nurse practitioner said she suspected a bacterial infection and ran bloodwork on me, she also stated my lymph nodes and tonsils were very swollen. Sure enough she was right and i’m finally on the antibiotics I had been needing all along. Never again will I step foot in the Kaiser of Woodland Hills. Cannot believe they have doctors who do not know what they are doing. This is for the urgent care only. I have been to the ED of Kaiser and was helped by wonderful staff. Sadly the urgent care is not the same."
"I was nervous about going to this urgent care because of all the bad reviews, but after going myself, I had to share my experience. I went in a Saturday around 11:30am and was seen at 1:15pm. The wait was what I expected (per the receptionist). My child was assigned to a pediatrician, which I loved. There were a few angry people in the lobby because other people were called back before them but the reason is that each patient is assigned to a certain doctor and some cases are more time consuming than others. I do think Kaiser should have more available locations and more doctors available so that we don’t have to wait hours to be seen all the time. The call center can literally never get us in a timely fashion, but I digress. Overall, it was a fine urgent care visit."
