We just moved to the neighborhood and met Eunice who agreed to see us a bit before opening hours in order to avoid his meltdown from bothering other children. I was prepared to have to hold him down and fight through tears, so I was completely surprised when he spent the entire haircut sitting in the airplane chair, watching some blippi. It was because he connected instantly with Eunice. She was kind, fun, took time to find the right way to engage with him- showed him the comb and buzzer before using, offered him motivational treats, and patiently learned to speak his language. On top of all that she gave him an amazing haircut. It’s people like her and this place that bring me such relief we are so grateful for."
