"My baby was born at 32 weeks, severely underweight with a few other issues. She stayed at the Neonatal intensive care Unit for 38 days and the nurses were truly Angels on Earth!! Teaching you how to care for your underweight baby ( is not as easy as you would think to care for a tiny Lil human who weights only 2 pounds) they kept you always informed, video calling you to give updates if you couldn't be there made it so much endurable to be away from your baby.. truly thankful for them .. ♡♡♡"
"This greedy hospital won't even let you park for free while I'm in the emergency room with my child. Got hit with a $64 parking ticket because I didn't have time to pay for parking while I was rushing to get to my child having severe seizures. They should be ashamed of themselves to taking advantage of parents in emergency situations."
"I always thought that UC Davis was a very famous children's hospital in California. I didn't know I was wrong until my son died here. My son made an appointment for cardiovascular surgery on October 24. The doctor told us that the surgery was successful. However, less than two hours after the operation, the child suddenly suffered from massive bleeding and cardiac arrest. After he was finally rescued, the doctor told him that the child was brain dead. As for the cause of the massive bleeding, the doctor said it was because the clips clamping the arteries fell off. What a ridiculous reason! Is such a big hospital such a trifling matter with human life? My son was eight days short of his first birthday when he became brain dead. We entered the hospital with a bouncing baby, only to find out that our baby would never go home! This matter will not end like this, you murderers should pay the price for your actions!"
"They almost killed my newborn son with their extreme malpractice. We ended up here with a diagnosis of “failure to thrive” because he developed posterior urethral valves. First, they failed to diagnose him because they didn’t bother with an ultrasound. So they kept pumping him with fluids even as his little body swelled and couldn’t expel these fluids. After they figured the problem and did surgery, they failed to check on him. Surgeon wouldn’t come to see him and his little body again started swelling. At this point they tried to tell me he had gained 2 kilograms in 1 day. When he had a seizure from fluid imbalance, they tried to tell me he had neurological issues because the morons couldn’t see the fluids imbalance causes seizures. They kept testing, prodding, trying to murder my child. After 10 whole days of this torture and with the support of family and other doctor friends, we decided to move him to UCSF. At this point, they threatened me that insurance would not cover the change, that my son was a “long term case”, and I would be liable for millions. Thank the universe we didn’t listen and changed his hospital. UCSF figured out the issue within hours. His bladder had become twisted from trauma, and so he needed kidney tubes to expel urine. He was treated within hours and my boy was brought back to life. He lost a kidney due to the malpractice of UC Davis. But his remaining kidney is thriving and so is he. He is not a long term case as they would have turned him into. He never needed and nor will he ever need dialysis or another kidney. He is well, energetic, and a happy almost 10-year old boy! Thank god for the good fortune we went to UCSF form the horror hospital that is UC Davis. Zero stars in perpetuity. Murderers."
