"I’ve gone to Sofia a few times for facial and bikini electrolysis. I used a numbing cream and have seen some really good results so far. Much less mustache than I used to have! My bikini line is in quick follow too. I’ve done a hydro facial as well as microdermabrasion. I always leave with my skin feeling as bright as ever! The salon itself is a cute little jewel box with colorful wall paper that makes you feel warm and at ease. I’m looking forward to my next appointment :)"

"I went to Sofia for 5 electrolysis appointments, either 15 or 30 mins. I am now going to a different esthetician for electrolysis and I'm finding this to be a better option that continuing to go to Sofia. I find the electrolysis technique that Sofia uses to be extremely invasive and abrasive to my facial skin to the point that my chin would be sore for 2-3 days after my appointment with inflammation and breakouts. I also found Sofia's bedside manner to be bleak and not welcoming at all. I didn't find her very empathetic to the fact that electrolysis on the face, is extremely painful. Her salon is very charming and clean so that's definitely an upside I wouldn't fault her for. I do believe that going to Sofia helped my skin and hair growth but I still wouldn't return, despite how close I live to her salon. I'm happy that now after an electrolysis session I can go about my day without being in overt pain for the next coming days and wanting to hideout in my apartment until my skin calmed down. Different strokes for different folks!"

"I went to Sofia for an electrolysis appointment to remove unwanted facial hair since I was having trouble scheduling with my previous electrologist. She was friendly, welcoming and kind during the appointment. However, the service itself was horrifying. My chin and upper lip were bleeding and sore. I left feeling like my skin had been mutilated and it took weeks for it to heal. With every other practitioner I’ve seen, I’ve only experienced slight reddening. Would not recommend seeing her for facial electrolysis."
