"We have been shopping at Valley Marketplace for many years and it used to be a fine experience. The ladies working in the deli section have always been helpful and friendly. But that’s not always the case with the cashiers. Today, we had the most unpleasant experience when we made an error at checkout while paying for 2 items and no one else in line ahead of us or behind us. The woman working at the cash register, FRIDA, became irritated, and angrily began hitting the payment monitor, and when she was able to charge us again for the items, started to lecture us and question why we had pressed the wrong button, etc. even as we walked away, she continued to raise her voice and naggingly questioned why we had pressed the wrong key and saying that the whole second transaction could have been avoided if we had just pressed “card” instead of “cash”. We didn’t say anything but it was an uncalled for and unnecessary embarrassment. Again, 2 items, no one in line behind us. Please work on your customer service skills."

"Nice "Mediterranean" store. As in Turkiye, Italy, Greece, Middle East and North Africa. It's not huge but the selection is quite nice and the staff is very helpful. This is a good place to find spices not commonly used in American or Asian cuisine. As an Italian-American, I love their deli selection. They have a decent size produce section that includes some things less commonly found at other stores."

"First time I come to Santa Clarita and I loved the diversity. Valley produce was no different either. It had Armenian, Russian, and even Hispanic household products. I was surprised I found something a store that was so multicultural outside of the LA metro area. Will definitely be returning to this store for all it's wide variety of products."
