"Childtime property is next to door to our mobile home park. The children play outside during 10am hour and from 3pm to pickup time. While the sounds of children playing is pleasant, the CONSTANT SCHRILL SCREAMING by a couple of children is unnerving. The children are allowed to run wild, with no organized games or interaction with "teachers". Most times, the teachers gather together and stand around talking with each other ... It would be appreciated if the children were taught playground etiquette and a little consideration for the school's neighbors. Maybe an indoor "time out" for a couple of days for the screamers would quiet them down. One can hope ..."
"I only took a tour of Child Time and was put on a wait-list because there are no spots available until August/September 2015. I also had visited La Petite's daycare an hour before and hated La Petite and I was expecting the same from Child Time because they are sister schools and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, professional and I like the curriculum and I really like the low ratio. I think Child Time uses Reggio as well? I'm not sure but that's what it said in the book they have in the front office although the curriculum she showed me was a school readiness pathway that I cannot remember the name of. Anyhow I enjoyed my tour thoroughly and unlike La Petite it was very spacious. La Petite had such a small miserable yard where Child Time had three dedicated areas to each age group. The food is designed by a nutritionist and they provide a lot so you, parent(s), don't have to worry about it: burp clothes, sippy cups, etc. Child Time also has a key pad entry. However my only suggestion would be to make that entrance more secure the gates were so old and safety in addition to cleanliness are my biggest concerns that's why I didn't give Child Time 5 stars."
"This is a wonderful childcare center and preschool. My daughter started attending in 2012 when she was 16 months old and my twins started attending a few months ago when they were 3 months old. The teachers are wonderful and the kids learn so much in a fun and caring environment. I would highly recommend this center for anyone looking for a daycare or preschool in the Huntington beach area."
