"Amazing, wonderful to see the diving history, exhibits, artifacts, and stories! Definitely a must see!"
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Catalina’s diving history museum. The best part was getting to meet John (the owner) and listen to his stories that brought to life the many helmets, tanks, photographs, movie advertisements, etc., that filled the museum. He has worked alongside famous nautical archeologists and told us stories of shipwrecks and other finds, too. This is one of the best places to visit on the island!"
"We stumbled across this little museum after snorkeling nearby. Many artifacts tracing the history of diving from the earliest metal suits to modern scuba equipment. My youngest son is fascinated with topic and was quickly enthralled by the pictures and equipment. The gentleman running the museum that day really knows his stuff and answered all of our questions. The fact that its free (donations are accepted and go to a local animal welfare program) just makes it more worth while. Swing by for a few minutes."
"A wonderful unexpected little gem. It is a small little museum with a great collection of diving equipment as it has developed over time. The gentleman who was running it also helps with animal rescue. They had national parks activity books and badges for the kids."
"A wonderful free Museum of dive equipment and diving on the island. It's was great to stop buy and talk with the proprietor about the Hollywood celebrities and other notable divers who have passed through these waters. ...and please feel free to leave a donation to keep it going."
