"A very small but well put together museum documenting the history of Catalina Island. Everyone should find a section or a display that they find interesting since the history of this island is fascinating and extensive. It’s a bit pricey so if you are on a budget you might end up skipping. Clean restrooms, ice cold AC and a good gift shop round out the reasons you should check it out!"

"A beautiful museum on the island. This is the right place to learn about the amazing rich history. All the vintage images will take you back in time to uncover a lot. Be sure to check out the chandelier on the 2nd floor."

"pretty nice place. it was empty when i visited. the Titanic story was on exhibition. the artifacts found on the island are neat to look at. i would carve out 1.5 - 2 hrs for avid museum goers. it's decently priced for entry. comfortable. ok place for children. i would visit again and recommend."

"Awesome chihuly glass exhibit! The museum is very nice and new. The regular museum exhibit about Catalina island's history was great, too, although I wish they had more about the island's natural history and early settlers, and less about all the Hollywood folks and the city of Avalon; however, a lot of the natural history can be found at the Catalina Conservancy's Nature Center. We spent about two hours here. It's worth the visit!"
