"Delicious deli. Highly recommend the bagel and lox, and recommend the hot pastrami, corned beef sandwich! Hash browns are delicious and crispy. Service is quick and wonderful. Been here a few times and each time has been great."
"Est. 1948 Layout/atmosphere *Deli & bakery to right of the entrance (the bakery features products from the old Beverlywood Bakery recipes); two rooms of tables & booths; six TVs; movie posters on the walls Service *Friendly; one of the owners Debbie Markowitz Ullman was there Food/drink *Combination Sandwich #9 (Corned Beef, Pastrami, Tongue & Swiss Cheese on seeded rye with Russian dressing, lettuce & tomato) with macaroni salad - Good; meat was tender; can get two meals from the portion; macaroni salad was good (creamier than usual deli macaroni salads) *Matzo Ball Soup [cup] with carrots & chicken (noodles) - good; decent size matzo ball *Complimentary bagel chips & pickles *Black & White Cookie - Good; not over frosted; held its structure after first bite"
"Factor’s Famous Deli on Pico Blvd, Los Angeles. I had a thick cut pastrami sandwich with a side of potato salad. That was a great sandwich and potato salad. They brought out some salty style Russian pickles as an appetizer. I’m not a dill pickle guy and they were a bit salty for me, but my coworker liked them. The Beaver mustards they provided were good. I liked the Deli mustard more than the Sweet Hot. That one for me (I’m not a sweet sauce person) was way to sweet, and I didn’t really get the hot. But it did have good flavor. Overall, another good choice for a meal stop with Wil Powell this evening."
"Turns out there is a nice New York deli right here in LA. Factors Famous Deli was just a short walk from our hotel so we got to experience breakfasts and dinners over a few days. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. Pastrami and corned beef sandwiches with meat piled so high you can’t get your mouth around the sandwich. But you can order half sandwiches so you can at least finish your meal. Another strategy is to have an order of toast and split the meat into two sandwiches. Serve breakfast all day and they have a deli counter if you want to bring some cold cuts or sides home with you. No beer or wine but a big selection of beverages. Service was pleasant and competent and prices were very reasonable. A rewarding dining experience, particularly if you miss or want a New York deli experience. We give Factors four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale."
"Love this deli. First time dining at Factor’s this morning and we all had a great brunch. Service was prompt, polite, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. They have valet parking out front, but we were able to find street parking close by for our 11AM Saturday brunch. I especially love all the booths inside and how quick they were with refills and bringing the food out. Our server was very polite and did a great job. They have a huge menu to order from and breakfast, lunch, or dinner was available. I chose the Beet Borscht to start which was great and followed up with the Eggs Benedict. It was cooked well and the portion was fair. I look forward to coming back in the future to try more items. Overall a great deli and I would recommend to anyone deli fan or not."
