Youth Center

The Youth Center, located at 310 Fairchild Drive in Fairfield, California, is a part of the Air Force Child and Youth Programs (CYP) that aims to support military and civilian personnel in balancing work and family life. The center offers various programs and services for children and youth aged birth through 18 years old.

Formerly known as the Youth Center, Youth Programs provide before and after school care through School Age Care, Open Recreation Program, and Teen Program. Additionally, the center offers extracurricular activities such as Youth Sports Program, Youth Instructional Classes, and Youth Clubs to keep children engaged and active.

School Age Care provides a safe and supervised environment for children aged 5-12 years during before and/or after school times. The Open Recreation Program promotes preteen independence and allows kids to come and go as they please. The Teen Zone Program is designed to promote independence for teens and offers a space for homework, socializing, and collaboration.

Youth Programs also offer sports activities like flag football, baseball, basketball, and soccer, as well as after school classes in music, dance, martial arts, and more. The center also has clubs focused on building character and leadership skills in the community.

For military families transitioning to a new area, the Youth Sponsor Program can help ease the transition for kids and teens. Additionally, individuals can become a Travis Youth Program VIP Member by texting YOUTHVIP or TEENVIP to 52236 for information, deals, and contests.
